No, this is one of the most common myths about dermaplaning. The fine vellus hair removed during the treatment is structurally different from terminal hair (the coarser hair on the eyebrows, scalp, or body), and it grows back exactly as it was before, soft, fine, and the same color. There is no change in thickness, color, or growth rate.
The Signature Dermaplane Facial is a fifty minute experience that includes the full dermaplaning treatment along with a thoughtfully curated cleanse, customized serums, mask, and finishing products. The Deluxe Dermaplane Facial is an eighty minute version that builds on this foundation with significantly more time devoted to extended facial massage, additional advanced techniques, deeper layered treatments, and a more luxurious overall pacing.
