Rescue and Recover Massage

This session delivers focused, evidence-informed relief for acute or chronic pain, muscular fatigue, inflammation, and physical stress within a single, targeted region of the body. Your therapist draws on an advanced toolkit built for precision work, myofascial release, PNF stretching, IASTM, cupping, contrast modalities, and thermotherapy, layering these fine-tuned techniques exactly where your body needs them most. Because the work is concentrated in a single region, every minute is devoted to depth rather than breadth, making this an ideal recovery follow up after a demanding week, or the natural bridge between a Medical Massage, Lymphatic Drainage, or Craniosacral session, continuing and deepening the progress each of those treatments began.

What to Expect

This is a focused, evidence-informed treatment that delivers targeted relief for acute or chronic pain, muscular fatigue, inflammation, and physical stress within a single region of the body. Your therapist draws on an advanced toolkit including myofascial release, PNF stretching, IASTM, cupping, contrast modalities, and thermotherapy, layering these techniques exactly where your body needs them most.
Because the full session is concentrated on a single area, every minute is devoted to depth rather than breadth. This allows your therapist to work more thoroughly and precisely than a full body session would allow, delivering meaningful results in a short, targeted appointment.
Yes. At the start of your session, you and your therapist will identify the single region that will benefit most, whether that is the neck and shoulders, low back, a hip, or another concentrated area. If you are managing pain or recovering from a specific strain, let us know when booking so we can plan the session around it.
It is an ideal recovery follow up after a demanding week, and it works beautifully as a bridge between a Medical Massage, Lymphatic Drainage, or Craniosacral session, continuing and deepening the progress those treatments began. Many guests use it as a focused reset whenever a specific area needs extra attention.
Cupping and instrument assisted techniques can sometimes leave temporary discoloration or mild tenderness in the treated area, which typically fades within a few days. Your therapist will adjust intensity to your comfort and preferences, so please share any concerns before or during the session.
Yes. Rescue and Recover pairs well with Celluma LED Light Therapy Body Work to further support recovery and ease inflammation. Just let your therapist know when booking or at the start of your session.
Several of the advanced techniques used in this session, including cupping, IASTM, and contrast modalities, are often adjusted or avoided during pregnancy. Please mention your pregnancy when booking so your therapist can determine which approaches are appropriate or recommend a treatment better suited to this time.
Please let us know before booking if you have a history of blood clots or deep vein thrombosis, take blood thinning medication, have a recent injury or surgery, an active infection or fever, or any skin condition or open wound in the area to be treated. Your therapist can help determine whether this treatment is appropriate for you.
