PreNatal Lux Ritual

A pregnancy-safe reimagining of our signature Shindora ritual, created to cradle you and your body through one of life's most tender seasons. Reclined in gentle comfort and never lying flat, you are wrapped in quiet care as warm, unscented oil is worked slowly through the scalp, along the neck, and across the shoulders, releasing the tension that so often gathers there during pregnancy. The ritual then turns to the feet and lower legs, where alternating warm and cool towel compresses ease the fatigue, heaviness, and mild swelling that come with carrying new life. There are no essential oils and no heated wraps, only patient, intentional touch and the deep, unhurried stillness of being truly looked after. Guests rise feeling lighter in the limbs, softer through the shoulders, and wholly restored. Offered as a fifty minute treatment, with physician clearance, for expectant guests who wish to experience the Shindora ritual in its most nurturing form.

Yes. Physician clearance is required for this treatment, and we confirm it at every visit to keep you and your baby safe.
The Mommy To Be Massage is a full-body prenatal massage. The Prenatal Nurture Ritual focuses only on the scalp, neck, and shoulders together with the feet and lower legs, making it ideal when you are holding tension up top or feeling heaviness and swelling in the legs and feet.
This treatment cannot proceed without physician clearance on file, or during the first trimester without explicit clearance. It should also be avoided with pre-eclampsia or pregnancy-induced hypertension, blood clots or DVT, placenta previa or abruption, severe or sudden-onset swelling, or an allergy to jojoba oil. If you are unsure, our team is glad to help before you book.
